According to college officials, a famous actor has agreed to come to Keene State College to make a speech during class of 2010’s graduation ceremony. Vice Student-elected Provost Clarence MacEntire said he wanted to have someone speak at graduation that exemplifies the KSC spirit. “When I was asked who students would want to speak at the graduation, I immediately thought, Bruce Willis is perfect for the job,”
MacEntire said. Golden Globe Award winning actor Bruce Willis has starred in many blockbuster hits such as “Die Hard,” “Pulp Fiction” and “The Sixth Sense.” Willis released a statement confirming his visit to the college. He said his speech will get the class of 2010 ready for the real world. “Sure, I will come speak but don’t be expecting a fairy tale speech. I aint in to that mushy crap,” Willis said.
Willis added he wants to make this experience worthwhile so, in turn, he demanded more than just a paycheck from the college. “I don’t live near New Hamster [Hampshire] so don’t think I going to hike all the way up there without a little something special. All I’m saying is, there better be pancakes,” Willis said.
MacEntire said Willis plans to give a real life perspective to KSC graduates. Willis knows more then anyone what the KSC experience is like, stated MacEntire. Willis will arrive in Keene three days before gradation and plans to leave immediately after the ceremony.
